Is Reality Real?
Today, I am going to ruin your whole perception of reality. Some scientists and people believe that there is a chance that we live in a simulation. And, quite frankly, the odds between us not living in a simulation, and the chance that we are are about 50/50. Not to mention, there is a lot, and I mean a lot of proof that we are living in a simulation. I personally don’t know for sure if we are living in reality or a simulation, but I just thought that this would be an interesting thing to talk about.
The Mandela Effect
The first piece of proof I have to offer is the Mandela effect. If you don’t know what the Mandela effect is, it’s basically an unusual phenomenon where a large group of people remembers something different than how it actually was. For example, many people remember the fruit of the loom logo having a cornucopia, but in “Reality”, it never did. Basically, the Mandela effect could be the person pushing the buttons changing the past.
DNA with a Computer Virus?!
In 2017, a group of researchers at the University of Washington proved that they could attach malicious computer code to a strand of physical DNA. They were trying to prove that computers working in gene sequencing are vulnerable to attack, but, they may have accidentally shown that what we think is biological reality is actually just computer coding.
Realistic Video Games
My third piece of proof has to do with video games. So basically, if humanity can survive long enough to create convincing simulations of reality, A.K.A, video games, this could mean what we call “reality” could just be a video game controlled by another reality, which could be controlled by another reality, and eventually, there would be one base reality. Confusing, isn’t it?
The “Rules” of the Universe
Why does our universe have “rules” in the first place? Well, if we are in a simulation, this could be because maybe the person “playing” doesn't have a very good quote on quote, internet connection. Or this could possibly mean that they didn’t “pay” for premium, so our rules had to be stricter than the other people who may be playing with other worlds. A.K.A, Alternate Universes.
